About Carol Montoya
My initial interest in photography was to keep a record. Someone asked me if I sold my photographs, and my answer was no, they were the possibility of a painting. Well, photography in the digital age has taken hold, and they have become my paintings. I have always laid out my composition before I draw, paint, or photograph the subject in my mind. I have worked in all mediums at one time or another, but watercolor and pastel were my modes of choice. For the present, my growing interest in photography has taken over.
My photography has become an evolution of melding images into art and allowing my artistic side fly. For each image has their own life and story. Come explore with me the world of art through photography!
