Description
Black and White Biltmore Christmas
Biltmore house all deck out in millions of lights for visitors. A huge Christmas tree becomes the focal point surrounded by smaller trees as visitors walk, and children run in and out between the trees. On the lawn lite paper bags light the way.
The Biltmore house greets hundreds of thousand visitors during the Chrismas season. The house is decked out with Christmas trees in every room, garland hung, lights are twinkling, and fireplaces are lite throughout the house. Image George and Edith Vanderbilt greeting their guest all deck out in men black tie, and ladies dressed in beaded gowns sitting down to a ten-course meal and singing Christmas Carols around the grand piano. A time of decadence of long ago; an era gone by is felt through the house. You hear the ghost of the people who lived and walked the halls.
Merry Christmas one and all!
