Description
Brook trout are also referred to as eastern brook trout or specks dating back in mountains streams for thousands of years, a true mountain fish. At one time their habitat went from the mountains to the Piedmont. With the on slot of logging in the 1800's taking much of their habitat away nearly wiped out the brook trout. As sport fishing to hold in the mountain rainbow trout from the west and brown trout from Europe were brought into mountain streams. Fighting for limited space and food the brook trout were pushed farther up steam. They have survived due to their size and being able to reach places other trout can not.

Super capture Carol. The movement, the reflection and the ripples deserve the features bestowed on your work. Well done indeed. V/F
