Description
Carolina Light
Carolina Lily became North Carolina state wildflower in 2003. The stem can grow up to 4 feet high and up to 6 flowers at the summit. The petals are brilliant red-orange with brown spots and arched back so that the tips overlap. Another name the Carolina Lily goes by is Turk's-cap Lily due to the lily hanging down and the petal from up shaped like a cap.
