A cub, its mother and sibling hang out in a tree as a larger female bear eats all the black walnuts below. Drivers, hikers, walker and bicyclist pack into Cades Cove in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park for Autumn color as well as seeing wildlife. A long the loop road you often find a deer or two and maybe some bears hanging out under a tree or in a tree. Please respect the rules and follow the rangers direction when they are on site. Protect the bears by not leaving food in the park, and stay 150 feet away. 4-5-2016 Appalachian Bear Rescue needs help for our mountains bears! I will donate 10% of my commission to the Non-profit organization with the purchase of my bear prints, etc...
