Description
Poinsett Bridge is the oldest bridge in South Carolina and perhaps in the entire Southeastern United States. Named for Joel Roberts Poinsett, it was built in 1820 as part of a road from Columbia, South Carolina to Saluda Mountain.
My husband Frank G Montoya was a budding photographer before Lung Cancer on April 17, 2017 took his amazing life. Frank was a gentle soul who loved life! I hope you will fall in love with his photographs as much as I do!

This has a medieval feel to it. I'm a South Carolinian, and I've never seen it! Definitely worth a visit. Great photography, Carol!

I love this magical image. I want to peek and see what is on the other side of that incredible arch!
