Glades Creek Grist Mill can be found in Babcock State Park, West Virginia not too far from Fayetteville know for their white water rafting.
The mill is only forty-one years old, completed in 1976. The mill is made up of parts and pieces of old mills, which were no longer in operation.The giant wheel powers the giant grindstone is from the Spring Run Grist Mill in Grant County. Various other mills provided parts including the Roaring Creek Grist Mill near Seneca Rocks.
Stop by! You can purchase cornmeal and buckwheat flour ground on premise. And homemade cornbread during the Fall season.
