Old textile factories begin a new life as retro fitted apartment buildings. Cities that once employed families including children now house families.
The Loray Mill was once the world’s largest textile building is in Gastonia, North Carolina. The building is now one of the most ambitious historic rehab projects in the region. The new owners of the building saved many of the parts from the original factory and now serves as art. The walls become a galley of the history of the people who worked and lived in the area.
