Description
Dry Falls In North Carolina During the Fall II
Dry Falls is along U.S. Highway 64 along the Callasaja river located in the Nantahala National Forest. One of the most visited falls, Dry Falls, is the 75-ft tall waterfall that flows over a cliff allowing visitors to walk up under the falls. Be prepared to get wet when the water flow is high!
Also, be care under the falls as the rocks are slippery and you can slip and fall.
During winter the falls might be closed due to possible snow and ice or the gate may be closed going under the falls. They do have a viewing platform year round.
